Where is Timberwolf Suites Apartment Community located?

Timberwolf Suites Apartment Community is conveniently located adjacent to the NTC campus at 1636 N. 3rd Avenue, Wausau, WI 54401.

Do I have to be a student to live here?

Yes, we require that you are a student to be a resident at Timberwolf Suites.  You do not have to be a student at NTC, but you may have to provide proof of student status (credits enrolled) upon request from management.

Is this a dorm?

No, Timberwolf Suites is not a dorm. Timberwolf Suites is privately managed and offers the benefits of being on campus but not living in a cramped dorm. There are regular residence life activities each month that vary from social, educational or campus-oriented events. On-site management and community assistants provide guidance and oversight.  However, you will have the same freedom and enjoyment of a conventional apartment home.

What is individual leasing and why is that important to me?

An individual lease is a “per bed” lease. You sign a lease for a bed in the apartment and share common areas with roommates. This allows you to live with roommates without having to worry whether they’re going to pay rent on time!

Can I request roommates?

We are more than happy to accommodate you if you have roommates you would prefer to live with. Don’t have roommates? No problem! We provide roommate matching services!

What is the process for roommate matching?

All residents are asked to fill out a roommate matching form when they apply for residency. Some of the categories by which we match people include year in school, housekeeping habits, study habits and interests. We ask all residents to fill out this form as honestly as possible so that we can match you to the best of our abilities.

Do you have a maintenance staff?

Yes, Timberwolf Suites has a fully-qualified maintenance staff available for work orders and 24-hour emergency maintenance as well.

What does my rent include at Timberwolf Suites?

Apartments come fully furnished with a bed, desk and chair.  Some units have a full kitchen while others have a kitchenette.
Rent includes access to the fitness center and other on-site amenities.

There is a reasonable monthly utility fee in addition to rent--this charge covers some of the costs for included services such as internet, water, sewer, trash, electric, heat and A/C.

Parking -- There is on-site parking, when available, for a monthly fee.  NTC also has parking available if parking needs exceed availability.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes.  Laundry facilities are available on every floor, for your convenience.

What do I need to bring with me when I move in?

Here are suggestions for what you should plan to bring upon moving in:
